Walking Through Life With Blinders On

Walking Through Life With Blinders On

"There are two abstracted figures in this painting. The man on the left is carrying what seems like a very heavy burden and his eyes are closed. The donkey on the right is coming into the painting with blinders on. Donkeys have blinders so they can focus forward and don't see danger around them to react to allowing them to continue carrying their burdens. How do we find our way and enjoy life if our eyes are closed and we have blinders on?"
