Fall on the River

"This beautiful spot is on the banks of the Columbia River in British Columbia. I love the dark greens of the shallow river against all of the many bright oranges, yellows and reds of the low lying berry bushes. It is common to see the salmon spawning here in the fall and it is even more common to see the bears eating the salmon. I have created a little series of paintings called ‘Falling On’, it celebrates all the gorgeous autumn colours in my neck of the woods!"
