Fall on the Larches
"This little alpine lake is in the Purcell Mountains near Panorama, BC. This hike started with a ride up three chairlifts and a serious climb back and up into Taynton. We scaled the entire ridge of Goldie Mountain and then descended down to the emerald green jewel of Goldie Lake. The pretty little lake surrounded by yellow larches was absolutely stunning! The larch trees were definitely worth this hike! I have created a little series of paintings called ‘Falling On’, it celebrates all the gorgeous autumn colours in my neck of the woods!"
