Bowl I

Bowl I

"Vessels for Spheres" solo exhibit - April 4-14, 2024

"This bowl was shaped from a fragment of alpine larch found near Finnegan’s Bluff. Numerous branches had been growing out of this piece of burnt and burled wood. I decided to patch one of the branch holes with a piece of hammered copper for color and contrast. The wood surface has been finished with mineral oil after sanding. The granite stone has been tumbled and shaped within the waters of the Moyie River. The metal legs are repurposed railway bolts".
