Rob Toller

Rob has been involved in creative pursuits for the last 30 years. He is a self-taught artist fuelled by curiosity and inspired by nature. Rob works mainly with found and reclaimed objects to create figurative sculptures. He is increasingly integrating natural elements – wood and stone - into his metal work. Rob is drawn to raw, organic textures and surfaces and is a huge fan of rust. The balance and rhythm of natural forms inspires and informs his art. Rob attempts to allow the raw and organic qualities of the material to speak for itself. His work has sold through galleries as well as private commission. Rob works in Cranbrook as a social worker and lives in Kimberley with his wife, dog and an ever-growing collection of rusty metal.
