Baby Egg

"There is something about babies that is endlessly joyous to sculpt. Normal rules of anatomy fly out the window and the shapes just delight my fingers luring me time and again. I make these miniatures individually to keep them one of a kind. I sculpt the original in a combination of clay and epoxy over a metal armature and then cast each limited edition into epoxy before detailing and painting it. I cast and paint each baby individually and each baby varies ever so slightly in colour adding to the uniqueness . Each baby comes in a walnut shell filled with wool."
