MORE SUPPORT FOR KPL

Art Gallery Kimberley

Updated: Nov 20, 2024

Recently, the library suffered damage due to a bear spray incident, resulting in the loss of 442 picture books and some of the furnishings in the Children's area. The estimated cost to replace these items is substantial.

Cranbrook-based artist Rico is very appreciative of all the Kimberley Public Library offered her family during her time living in Kimberley.

Looking to give back, Rico is donating the artist's proceeds of the sale of her original one line drawing "Baby Deer" to the Library in support of the recovery of the lost books and furnishings in the Children's area.

Cranbrook-based artist LAVERNA PETERS would like to support the Kimberley Public Library by donating the artist's proceeds of the sale of her acrylic painting "Bear" in support of the recovery of the lost books and furnishings in the library's children's area.

LaVerna's cute, little bear painting is available at the gallery and online on our website.

UPDATE: SOLD!
