"The inspiration for this painting came from a photo I took while hiking along the ridge of Pocaterra Mountain.  Truly, a hike with spectacular views.  As, always, Once we hit the top of the ridge, I stepped aside and took some time to myself.  This particular day, I was thinking about a struggle I was having with a person in my life, and was trying to come to terms with the issue.  Then, while taking in the view, it just hit me…it was like the obvious answer had always been there in front of me, but it took being at the top of that ridge, lost in the beauty of my happy place, that I received the clarity I had needed.  This painting is a tribute to that moment in time."
