"White Boar Lake is probably my favourite local place to go to witness the magical slow change of nature. Every year the winter glacier that forms at the far end of the lake begins to melt to become something entirely different by the Summer Solstice. The glacier begins to melt fragmenting into icebergs bobbing, fracturing and rolling into open water. The camera recognizes the entire blue spectrum of reflected light while the eye does not. This photo is part of a body of work called “Iceforms.”
