Red

Red

"The first of my red bears! Up until now I have only painted blue and brown bears. However, I am drawn to the colour red. This  vibrant hue makes me think of strength, love, confidence, passion and courage. Some say red emotes a feeling of anger but I prefer to focus on the more positive feelings of this colour. The intense eyes of this girl and the water dripping from her drenched coat exudes the essence of one who is emerging from a struggle, but embracing a new found confidence and strength. I feel her eyes projecting her evolution into a powerful new version of herself. She embodies everything I feel the colour red symbolizes."
