"This piece was inspired by a dear friend. I created this piece while away from home undergoing treatment. My longtime friend stayed with me for a portion of my treatment and was exactly what I needed to help me get through some of my time away. The gentle look, calm and protective demenour I felt from this wolf are a few of the qualities I cherish in my good friend…I could actually “see” my friend in this wolf’s eyes and features."
