Hide and Seek Anyone

Hide and Seek Anyone

"This guy started out to be brown and a future addition to my Fenn Collection. However, as I started laying the brown brush strokes, I could not help but feel he just needed to be blue!  The inspiration for this painting came from reminiscing of when I was a young child and our family would spend numerous weekends and holidays at my grandparents farm, in the Assiniboia area in Saskatchewan.  My sister, cousins and I would spend hours playing hide and seek in the trees and around the outbuildings on the farm.  I have so many fond memories from my childhood of those times there with my cousins that it just seemed fitting to paint this guy as a reminder of those childhood memories."
