Here Comes Blue
"There’s something about this blue bear that makes me smile. She’s a happy, hopeful soul, looking off into the distance, not with fear or hesitation, but with curiosity and confidence. She’s thinking about what’s next; what she wants, where she’s going, and how she’ll get there on her own terms. I painted her in a moment of new found energy and inspiration. Just like the bears waking from their winter hibernation, she’s stepping into a new season with a hunger for living. Her energy is bold and unapologetic. The bold blue bear is done waiting, done shrinking, done doubting. This is her time. There’s a gentle joy in her stance, but don’t mistake it for softness; there’s fire in her belly and a quiet certainty in her heart. You can walk alongside her, cheer her on, or simply admire her from afar… but either way, she’s moving forward. What I love most about her is that she isn’t looking back. She knows who she is. She believes, deeply and fully, that she’s only just getting started—and the best is yet to come. There’s a lightness in that kind of knowing. It’s not arrogance—it’s alignment. It’s what happens when we finally stop asking for permission and start embracing the power of becoming. This blue girl reminds me, and maybe you too, that we’re allowed to begin again… bold, bright, and beautifully ourselves."
