Gift of Grace

"Walking into nature and finding a river is a gift. The flow of a river and the flow of painting with an effortless and timeliness share a similar feel. To find a waterfall with a river is a gift of grace. It is unexpected and given freely with no strings attached. Every painting is an unexpected gift of grace for me because I have no idea what my paintings will be until the end. And then, it is grace - not expected, not deserved but given freely."
