Follow The Paintbrush

"The day we hiked into the Rockwall Trail it was hotter than hot! We had to stop a lot, we had to drink a lot, we complained a little and we enjoyed the views a lot! We followed the creeks and rivers, we passed over some good solid bridges and some not so good and not so solid ones. We crossed avalanche fields of logs, and wildflowers, and a gravel one that we kept sinking into. I took hundreds of photos and stored away tons of memories. We followed the icy turquoise creeks and the many clusters of paintbrush flowers that were flaring in the burning sun. It was the most beautifully, extraordinary day in the mountains!"
