Cone-crete

Cone-crete

"This vessel form was created from the bowl of a portable concrete mixer and consequently has a bit of weight to it. I was drawn to the form and color of this object. The “teeth” that turned the mixer provides a unique rim to this vessel form. The red industrial paint provides its own historical narrative of the hard life of this object. The cones were collected from local Ponderosa Pine trees."
