ARTISTS RALLY FOR "BEAR-Y SPECIAL" FUNDRAISER

Pictured in the gallery (from left to right) are Calgary-based artist Michele Doucette, Kimberley Public Library’s Children and Youth Services and Programs / Circulation and Public Services coordinator Ryan, and Kimberley-based artist Marianne Rennick. Michele and Marianne, with support from the gallery (including some gallery visitors), contributed $654.10 to the library’s Bear-y Special Fundraiser. The fundraiser aims to help replace 442 lost picture books and damaged furnishings in the children’s area following a bear spray incident.
