Kimberley (k̓ukamaʔnam, pronounced: ‘koo-ka-mah-nam’) is within Ktunaxa ?amak?is (pronounced: ‘k-too-nah-haa-mah-kis), commonly referred to as Ktunaxa Territory, the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation.
WHAT IS HAPPENING
It's so nice to see artworks by local artists in Kimberley businesses! In addition to commissioning local artists for the artwork in the rooms and lobby of the beautiful, newly renovated and completely transformed hotel, "The Larix Hotel" is now also displaying artworks by Grant Smith and Lyle Grisedale.
Burrito Grill is now displaying Mexican photography by Invermere artists Carol Gordon and James McElroy. The artworks beautifully complement the nicely updated restaurant interior.
Grant, Lyle, Carol, and James's artworks are for sale and can be purchased through Art Gallery Kimberley.

Bringing the walls down! Lots of noise has been coming out of The Laundromat in the last few days as the partition walls came crashing down. Not by themselves, though. They needed a little convincing, a reciprocating saw, and a very determined Demo Man.
It's such a glorious sight to see the wide open space. Not kidding, we can hear angels singing every time we open the door. You are among the lucky few to get the first glimpse of the current state of affairs. That's what you get for signing up for our newsletter. You're welcome ;-).
MONTHLY CHANGING SOLO ART EXHIBITIONS
