Bill Roberts

W.R. (Bill) Roberts was born in Alberta, raised in British Columbia and is an alumnus of Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan. He worked for Teck Cominco for thirty-eight years, thirty-six of those underground, as a miner with a short stint as a shift boss. He is proud of being a hardrock miner and his association with his fellow workers. He feels in his heart that these stories are told the way they should be. Bill has written several published short stories and this is his first book. Bill and his wife, Sandra, are both retired and live in Kimberley, BC.

We acknowledge that k̓ukamaʔnam | ku-ka-mah-nam | Kimberley is within Ktunaxa ?amak?is, the traditional homelands of the Ktunaxa Nation.
