Winter Cabin
"This winter cabin is inspired by the quintessential “cabin” experience. In my family, we were very fortunate that both sets of grandparents owned cabins in the woods. One of my favourite memories is visiting my Nanny’s cabin for Christmas. It truly felt like an old fashioned Christmas complete with cutting down our own tree, a wood burning stove, homemade gingerbread and 4 feet of snow. So I imagine the humble little cabin in this painting is celebrating their own holiday amongst a vast mountain and blanket of snow."
