Valhalla Synchronicity

"Using photos from various trips through the Valhallas "in my own backyard" I took an impressionistic approach to this night scene, bringing vibrant beauty in a helix patterned aurora to the sky. I have only witnessed auroras a handful of times, but they are such a magical and powerful expression of nature's beauty and I love painting them."
