Rise and Roar

"I finished this piece a few days before the invasion of Ukraine. After hearing the devastating news, I saw this painting on the chair downstairs. The colours of yellow and blue, just like the Ukrainian flag. It represents boundaries and light rising resiliently, even among war and devastation. It is hope and fortitude toward goodness in the world and the lofty ideal of a global movement toward peace."
