Passing Through

"The name of this insinuates passing through on both a physical and spiritual level. As I painted I was in a place of reflection around the shared experience of life and the fragility and fleetingness of our time. The bear is passing through the physical scene, but we all are passing through and navigating this life – together. See how the gold paint creates a kind of phantom image as it catches the light."
