Bear

Cranbrook-based artist LaVerna Peters will be donating the artist’s proceeds of the sale of this painting to the Kimberley Public Library in support of the recovery of the lost books and furnishings in the children's area.
 
Recently, the library suffered damage due to a bear spray incident, resulting in the loss of 442 picture books and some of the furnishings in the Children's area. The estimated cost to replace these items is substantial.
