What happens when artists choose to look at the world just a little differently? “Unusual Angles” invites you to find out.

This open, adjudicated exhibit brings together artists from the Kootenays and beyond who explore fresh perspectives—through unexpected viewpoints, creative compositions, and imaginative approaches across visual art disciplines. From subtle shifts in perspective to bold conceptual turns, the artworks on display challenge the familiar and reveal new ways of seeing.

The exhibit culminates in a closing reception and awards celebration on Friday, February 27 from 6–8 pm, an opportunity to meet artists, connect with fellow art lovers, and celebrate creativity and the Kootenay region.
