Jess Stacey

Jess Stacey is a multidisciplinary artist and Red Seal Horticulturist who creates pottery from her home studio nestled among the gardens of her flower farm called 'Herbarium' in the Creston Valley.

Jess creates ceramic works that are at once functional and whimsical, making use of various surface design techniques to accentuate the refined silhouettes of her pots and to create a beautiful experience for the user. Her pottery is informed by her ongoing work with plants as well as her interest in other creative mediums such as textiles.

A former studio member of The Edge Gallery (2010-2016) and Artlington Studios (2015-2017) in Winnipeg MB, as well as a graduate of the Kootenay School of The Arts, Studio Textile Program (2018) in Nelson, BC, Jess now teaches pottery classes at The Pottery on Canyon in Creston, BC.
