Hello! My name is Emma. I was always frustrated with the lack of long tops for leggings, so I learned how to make my own. After graduating from fashion school, I moved to Fernie, BC, excited to design clothes for real women. Women like me who are always on the go, who want to be comfortable and casual but still look good and feel even better.

I now run an ethical clothing company that creates beautiful long tops, hoodies, and dresses from super soft, comfortable Tencel fabric. My designs, with their flattering shapes, side gathers, good-quality fabrics, and long lengths, look great on various body frames and are perfect for every day; they can be worn with leggings, jeans, shorts, or as a dress…. YES, they have pockets!

I add a unique twist to my designs by collaborating with local artists, getting their work printed onto fabric, and incorporating it into my designs. I love it because I get to support other local artists, and customers love it because my tops are unique and real pieces of wearable art.

This fantastic collaboration features the work of Sam Millard from Kimberley, BC. We have printed six of her stunning paintings onto fabric and integrated them into the flattering Ego Collection. I love working with these artists and seeing their stunning artwork come alive and become a funky hoodie I made!

Untamed is proud to be part of the Slow Fashion movement. We believe that affordable, good-quality, comfortable clothing can also be good for the planet.

Clothing has become disposable. As a result, we generate more and more textile waste, causing the fashion industry to become one of the worst polluters globally, and I want to do my part to change this. I want my customers to feel good about how my designs make them look and feel and feel good about their shopping decisions.
I have learned so much about women in the past few years and sadly realized that 95% of women are unhappy with their bodies. I want people to recognize that we all have body insecurities, but let's not focus on the negative but embrace the positive.
