Dawn Bryant

"Creator and pilot of one nourished and crazy imagination. Whimsy guides my creative process."

"I've been involved in art and the arts from a young age though the medium has shifted over the years.
My work includes traditional and non-traditional beadwork on mitts, mukluks and bunting bags, a small crafting business on the Alaska highway doing fabric sculptures, the design and creation of custom teddy bears and keepsake bears for over 10 years with bears now residing on every continent, and then slowly progressing to the world of quilts and quilted pieces."

"I was raised here in the Kootenays on a ranch up Wolf Creek Rd (behind Wasa) with many horses and countless miles of trails to explore before leaving to explore other areas of BC, Yukon and the NWT. I'm now back living in Kimberley proper and very happy to be home."

"The picture for my profile is my interpretation of Fisher Peak as seen from the Wycliffe prairie when the wild sunflowers are in bloom."
