Morning Cloak Kisses

Morning Cloak Kisses

"Crocuses are one of the first signs of Spring. I watch for these elegant bulbs to poke their heads up from under the mounds of snow every spring. Only then do I feel that spring is truly on its way. The morning cloak is also one of the earliest butterflies to appear in the garden, so it felt right to add one in this painting. As in many of my backgrounds I added circular marks as they represent the nature and the circle of life."
